I was busy raising my own children when the original series was on, so now I get to watch all the old shows I missed back then.....so I guess I'm a geek, too.
I'm a new follower and I chose your blog to give the Stylish blog Award to.
I'm at:
http://oaklawnimages.blogspot.com/

Kathy at Oak Law ImagesKathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10069212392695293682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-48727200843446275.post-84100156527242747652011-02-25T16:11:29.462-05:002011-02-25T16:11:29.462-05:00The wholesomeness of the world came to an end when...The wholesomeness of the world came to an end when the Little rascal's and the three Stooges was canceled :-0Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-48727200843446275.post-75435556688406860672011-02-25T14:26:38.315-05:002011-02-25T14:26:38.315-05:00The only shows I was allowed to watch were The Cos...The only shows I was allowed to watch were The Cosby Show, Star Trek The Next Generation, and cartoons like My Little Pony and Care Bears.

It was a revolution when I watched My So-Called Life on MTV, as a young teen.

I think the far extreme of "why would you let your kids watch this bs" is Skins (especially the US remake). Nor would I have watched them if there were children in the house. Yes, there is violence but the thing that gets me is the SEX. Almost every show and certainly many of the commercials refer to sex so often I get embarrassed. My brother once called me a prude...if the shoe fits?Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09528247353792997425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-48727200843446275.post-58332224374346951832011-02-25T14:04:09.184-05:002011-02-25T14:04:09.184-05:00I think morals and standards are relative. Oh they may not fit the standards of the 70s, but they are good TV. I also like "Parenthood", "Brothers and Sisters" and "Mike and Molly". Ok, Molly's sister talks about getting high all the time, but that's just funny.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
