They are there when you need them the most!

So okay....I had a rough week with my Son being in the hospital and all...but it was not as bad as it could of been.

I have to Thank my wonderful Family & Friends for stopping everything that they were doing when I called them about Bo's bad Quad wreck, and sending out Prayer Request. We have a big Prayer Chain.

After totally freaking out, I had a Calm Peace come over me, even though my son was in ICU, I just knew that he was going to be okay! I knew that everyone was Praying for him/us. I just left all the stress, and care 0f my Son in Gods hands.

He was home in 4 days. He has a long road of recovery, but I think he will be fine.

Here I am

It's me....I'm back! I bet you were wondering where the heck I've been?
Oh...here and there.
Playing Yoville on Facebook...it's very addicting!

I have also been busy with my Son....He gave us quite the scare last Sunday.
He was racing his Quad, lost control in a turn...they had to Care-Flight him.
He broke his neck (2nd Vertibre) his Shoulder, 3 ribs, collapsed left lung, small hemorrhage on his brain.
Spent a day and 1/2 in ICU..2 days in a trauma room. He is now Home, and doing good! He will have a long slow road to recovery, but he is a lucky guy!
God was watching over him that day! (Thank you God!)

Hubby said he saw me age 5 years over the past few days!
I think I could actually feel gray hairs popping up all over my head. lol

So, now we are all just kicking back this weekend...trying to catch up on sleep, and settle my nerves!

Wild Man on 4 wheeler

Yep, that's my wild man (my son. hubby standing) on his Quad at his last race...He won the first heat, but his quad would not start for the final....Boy, was he mad!
If you look close you can see his Mohock on his helmet.
I have a video, but it came in sideways....Grrrr

Don't break the elastic!

In April, Maya Angelou was interviewed by Oprah on her 70+ birthday.. Oprah asked her what she thought of growing older...

And, there on television, she said it was 'exciting.'

Regarding body changes, she said there were many, occurring every day...like her breasts. They seem to be in a race to see which will reach her waist, first.

The audience laughed so hard they cried. She is such a simple and honest woman, with so much wisdom in her words!

Maya Angelou said this:

'I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.'

I'm on Vacation!

WooHoo! The hubby and I are on vacation this week! this is the last of our 4 weeks that we get a year.
We are not too sure what our plans are, but we do plan on taking a couple of days and just start driving, and see where we land.

I would also like to re-arrange our living room sometime this week...maybe move my computer and desk into the back room. Hubby said that he would never see me if I moved the computer. lol The desk takes up a lot of space, and I want to open up the room a little more.
De-clutter! Less is more! and all that.
