First Day of School

I keep seeing this on many blogs I surf through, and the only thing that comes to my mind is... Neener neener....I don't have to worry about that anymore!
Getting School supplies.. OMG, I seen a few "School supply" list at the store.. whatever happen to paper, and pencils, and they would supply the rest?
New Clothes....Ha...no longer a problem here. Backpacks, Lunch money...etc..
Oh it's Great not to even have to worry about it!

I don't have to worry about it, either, but I love the back to school supplies sales! I love the spiral notebooks for 5 cents, the glue sticks for 22 cents, the real crayons for 22 cents, so I still buy school supplies!! Silly, huh? But a person can never have too many color crayons so I always buy them for the grandkids and myself. They make great stocking stuffers and prizes, too. I'm still a kid at heart I guess!

It's really not silly at all...I also love the cute note books, and I like to use Crayola colored pencils to use in my Altered Book.
I have to leave myself notes, so I've been buying index cards...they work great!

It's great that I don't worry about it but I do have a lot of flashback memories when I drive past the local school buildings. I miss the smell of the old lunch boxes and new crayons. I miss the anticipation of finding out who the new teacher is going to be and what's on the supply list. We always took pictures on the first day of school.
