Tis the Season to be Jolly!

A little child,
A shining star.
A stable rude,
The door ajar.

Yet in that place,
So crude, folorn,
The Hope of all
The world was born.

I must admit that I am glad Thanksgiving is over! It was a busy week. We had 3 different meals. It's always great to see family and friends, but I'm glad to have a little time to myself. Well, at least a few hours until I go to work!

Black Friday! I didn't leave the house!!

I love being with family and friends as well but sometimes it's just nice to be by yourself and enjoy some quiet time:-) I heard on the news about Black Friday and what happened at that one WalMart in New York...I think it was much safer to stay home!!! We don't have Black Friday here in Canada but we do have Boxing Day sales the day after Christmas where a lot of stuff is 50% off. xoxo

We got to see lots of family on Thanksgiving Day, but we too stayed home on Friday. No way, do I want to fight that mess.

What a beautiful little poem, Linda!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, as my daughter and granddaughters came here for a week from Ohio. We enjoyed it so much. We did not go shopping on Black Friday. I wouldn't join the crazy crowd for anything! A little old lady like me, would get trampled for sure!

Take care!

Hugs,

Renie

I had a great thanksgiving day. It was my first here in USA. And I had a wonderful experience on Black Friday, too. I got a good deal. :)
And oh yes, relax for a little while, then, plan for the Christmas Dinner. :)
