Drab to Shappy Chic

I've had the same Bamboo plant for about 10 years now, and I think it's been in the same Hurricane Vase just as long . And boy, it is looking nasty!

It's my own fault though.. I have gotten lazy over the years. Not cleaning it as I use to do.

 

So, I thought about just getting a new Dark Vase (dark would help hide the water marks that comes with lack of cleaning) but I could not find one in the same size.

I thought about painting the vase, but I was unsure what color to paint it.

Then I thought of my beloved burlap, and a plan formed.

Burlap, and burlap ribbon...

Ta Da....

An easy way to hide a nasty vase!

Next project.. Burlap Candles ;)
