"Geek Alert"

In the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, during the Great Depression, the Walton family makes its small income from its saw mill on Walton's Mountain. The story is told through the eyes of John Boy, who wants to be a novelist, go to college, and eventually fulfill his dreams.

I've been watching re-runs of the Walton's lately. My hubby would say: "Geek alert".  But I don't mind, because I just love me some good ole wholesome shows.

I think many of our Children need to watch good wholesome shows.   Are there even any good wholesome shows on TV these days?  I haven't seen any, and I think it's sad!  It seems all the shows are all about killing, violence, vampires...etc... Oh, don't get me wrong, I am a BIG fan of the Vampire shows, and I've read, and seen all the Twilight series.
But shows like The Walton's install good morals and standards, which is something missing in today's society.
Another show (re-run) I like to watch is: Little out house on the Prairie.
Call me old fashion, or a Geek I just don't care!
