Perfect weekend

Don't you just love perfect weekends?  It's doesn't happen often, but when it does you just don't want it to end.

SoSerene: the perfect place for business meetings, private parties, outdoor weddings, intimate indoor weddings and family gatherings.

We've had a busy month...3 wonderful weddings...weekends watching our friends band play out. (hubby's old band members)  I know deep down he (hubby) wants to be up there jamming with them..he misses it, but he said he does not miss being out every weekend.  It gets old, and the pay is bad.
He still plays at home, and gives guitar lessons a couple times a week.

 Work has been stressful lately, so I need to work on having more "Serene" in my day!

18 years

18 years with the same man!   Well, actually we have been together 21 yrs. and married for 18.
I tease my hubby about how I should be getting some kind of an Award for all that I have put up with over the years...lol
And, his words to me were.. "Suck it" lol

Me: ah, I'm feelin the Love..
Hubby: You know I love you!
Me: Yeah, I know!

I told Hubby that it is just you and I now....The kids are grown, and have their own lives.
We just have each other, so we might as well make the most of it!
It's great when you can find someone that not only is your spouse, but also your best friend!
When you can enjoy each other, and even drive each other crazy at times. Makes life more interesting when you know you can share it with someone you like.

So now we off to Texas Roadhouse for a Steak dinner...yummm

Holiday Cheer!

It's been a busy week leading up to Christmas...Muffy's favorite spot these day's is under the tree...

We have an "outside" cat that comes in to eat and nap.  His (Buff) favorite napping spot is the back of the couch.  I try and put an old towel down for him to lay on..(he comes in looking like Cujo sometimes)

I put Throw pillows up to divert him to his towel...

This works....sometimes!

He is just a big Sweetie...Likes to give lots of Love..unlike Muffy

Yesterday was my BFF's Birthday...I took her out for drinks, then we met up with the hubby's for more drinking and darts at their house.

(This is the blanket I made for Victoria.)
