Vacation is over...Get your butt back to work!

Well...We used up the last of our vacation weeks..Going back to work Monday, and really not looking forward to it!

I would love to be a "stay at home" wife, but these days we just can't afford living on only one income....
I often think that if we give up a few non necessary toys that maybe we could, but we are spoiled with technology.
To be honest, we really don't have that many toys, but the toys we do have all cost money to keep up.

I'm thinking about changing my cell phone plan...need to find a better/cheaper plan.

Other than that, all is well with me and mine!
Hope all is well with you and yours!
Hugs!

I received an email on my "Staycation" from Elizabeth Cahill...She recommended this site "Nature Rocks" for a lot of free family fun!

Staycation Ideas

With our job only working us 4 day weeks (Hubby and I work at the same factory) We have long weekends. We try to take advantage of these long weekends, but sometime money can be tight.
So, we like to do what we call "Staycations".

Here are a few of our Staycation fun:

Out on the Patio..Drink Ice Tea in Goblets. Work on our tans.
Board games..one of our favorites is Battle Ship. Card games. Cooking on the grill.
I like to read, while hubby carves on his hiking sticks. On cooler nights we like to sit by our fire pit.

Low cost or free: Hiking, canoeing, Frisbee Golf, Tennis, visiting Friends..just to name a few.

I was wondering if anyone else does "Staycations", and what do you do to have fun?
