Winter

Oh, the joy of winter...Or so I thought when I was younger!
Now, I could live without the cold, dark, gloomy days of winter.
It seems like I'm always searching for the beauty in it through pictures.
anything to get me through this cold season...Look for the Beauty!

Enough Already!

Have you ever just thrown your hands up in defeat?  Have you had about all you can handle?
That's how I've been feeling lately with this winter...cold crap!
(screams) Enough Already! No, I'm not pulling my hair out ..yet, but I've had about all I can handle for this year!
I can't even get inspired to write a good post, because I'm overwhelmed with coldness. lol
The coldness makes me all droopy/sleepy...and I hang out in my jammies until I have to get ready for work in the afternoon.
Lazy...This word should be in here also, because it also makes me Lazy!
Droopy, sleepy and Lazy = Winter

Going to go crawl back in bed..(I wish!)
Have a Great Day my Blog Friends!

Auntie Em

We are getting Strong winds From Hurricane Ike...A few tree limbs in our yard, has my hubby pacing the grounds. He can't help it...he's like the "Protector" of all that is around him! Which I guess is a good thing.
With all this wind, it has blown down a few leafs...I found this little beauty in the front yard, and just had to take a picture.

I am praying for all who are in the path of Hurricane Ike!

On the Weather Channel:

The remnants of Hurricane Ike w
ill combine with a quick moving
cold front to bring windy conditions to the region today.

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.
